What Makes This Sugar Shack Special?
Built on a 200-year-old Quebec heritage site, the Sucrerie de la Montagne is renouned for its old-fashioned log cabins and warm service. Work up an all-you-can-eat appetite cross-country skiing on the nearby 25 km of ski trail, finish off the day with a hearty meal and dance to live traditional folk music. There's also the option to stay overnight in one of the Sucrerie's four log cabins.

Sugar shack meals vary from $23 to $27.50 for teens and adults, $13 to $14 for kids ages 7 to 12, and $7 to $8 for children ages 3 to 6.
Free for children ages 2 and under.

Lunch sittings between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays. Dinner sittings between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturdays. Dinner sittings between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Sundays. Call (450) 451-0831 to reserve a sitting during the week.

Getting There From Montreal
Autoroute 40 West, Exit 17 toward Montée Lavigne. Turn left on Montée Lavigne until you reach Rang St. Georges. Turn right and continue for another six kilometers until you see the Sucrerie, on your right.
