SAQ Description: "This dry and greenish yellow coloured white showcases a simple nose releasing fruity and vegetal scents. You will be charmed with this medium-bodied wine revealing a broad texture and a medium finish."
In English: This wine is so balanced, fresh and crisp with no overwhelming acidity, i.e., that tart, sour, almost burny sensation characteristic of some whites, notably the lower-priced Pinot Grigios. In the case of Château Sainte-Marie Vielles Vignes Entre Deux Mers, it's dry yet a sweet tooth would appreciate its delicate complexity and smooth, zero aftertaste finish. I'd recommend it as a sipping wine although the producer proposes it paired with seafood, shellfish and fresh salads.
