Making it to three consecutive summer Olympics since Sydney in 2000 and winning a medal at every one of them, Emilie Heymans has marked herself as an outstanding diver in both individual and synchronized diving events, winning medals in three consecutive Olympics, achieved by only four other Canadian Olympians.

The Globe and Mail nicknamed the 10-metre tower specialist Emilie the Enigma for her reserved, introverted demeanor. Others focus on her successful quest in overcoming past Olympic misses in individual diving events, often attributing her past mistakes to nerves and lapses in concentration, which didn't seem to affect her synchro performances as much.

Described during the Beijing finals by CBC diving commentator and former synchro partner Anne Montminy as one of the world's most beautiful divers to watch in action, click on the links below for an illustrative review of Emilie Heymans' prolific diving career, an elite athlete from St. Lambert in the Greater Montreal area.
