The Montreal Biosphere proposes entertaining and interactive hands-on exhibits that are particularly useful in explaining environmental issues to kids (e.g., climate change, sustainable development, responsible consumption, etc.)

Admission is $12 for adults, $8 for senior and students with I.D. and free for youth 17 and under.

The Montreal Biosphere is situated at 160 Chemin Tour-de-l’Isle on Sainte-Hélène Island in Parc Jean-Drapeau and is easily accessible by public transit. Just get off at Jean-Drapeau Metro, turn left upon exiting the station and turn left again, as soon as you see a huge geodesic dome. You couldn't miss it if you tried.
