Parc Jean-Drapeau Winter Activities
Parc Jean-Drapeau, Montreal's most eclectic attraction, used to be open only three weekends every winter as part of the annual snow festival Fête des Neiges, a shame considering the park’s double-island wonderland potential across seasons. But with the opening of North America’s first snow village in January 2012 on park soil, management changed its tune, extending the period of its winter offerings, proposing, among other attractions, the following free and paid activities 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every weekend from January 21 to March 11, 2012 as well as weekdays from March 5 to March 2012.
