Hard to believe, but it's true. If your child is 9 or 10 years old, then sign them up for SnowPass, a Canadian Ski Council program that grants children three free ski lift tickets to several participating Canadian ski resorts per ski season provided they meet the basic requirements: applicants must be age 9 or 10 and attend school in Canada. Note that parents are charged a modest administration fee and children are allowed to benefit from this program for one season only.
Consult the SnowPass website for details.
*A big thanks to Marty of Shoshana Ruttner Photography for this great tip!
