Free outdoor fashion shows, live music and DJ sessions now through Saturday. Don't miss the Martinez Brothers set as well as DJ darling Misstress Barbara at the lingerie show on Saturday!

Crescent Street Grand Prix of Canada Festival
Honda F1 racing simulators, bubbly promotional staff, live shows on a double-decker stage ... Crescent Street is doing its Grand Prix dance again, expecting up to 450,000 people to attend the strip's 10th F1 Fest, between Ste. Catherine and de Maisonneuve, over the course of three days.
Get there: Lucien l'Allier, Guy-Concordia, or Peel Metro.

Grand Prix on the Main
Last year's Grand Prix first street fest on St. Laurent featured 25 vintage cars, swing dancers, (bubbly promotional staff) and live DJ sets. If you want to find out what's happening this year, you'll just have to show up on any intersection on St. Laurent between Duluth and Sherbrooke, from 8 a.m. and 3 a.m., now through Sunday. And the fest goes on, rain or shine.
Get there: Sherbrooke or St. Laurent Metro.

Grand Prix Weekend: Avoid the Action

June 1st to June 30, 2008
Suoni Per Il Popolo / Sounds for the People Festival
Over 50 concerts through June covering many musical genres, from jazz to rock, Renaissance lute and everything in between. Enjoy the sweet sounds of spoken word and musical improv as well. Tickets range from $5 to $25.

Madame Butterfly Under the Stars: A Free Event
One very large screen at the Place-des-Arts Esplanade will show Opera de Montreal's recent rendition as of 8 p.m. Earlier at noon, three sopranos will sing live in the same location.
