If you're new to Latin dance, just make sure to show up at the beginning of the session, at 6 p.m. That's when the teacher explains the basic steps, giving newbies a chance to understand the fundamentals.

Free Latin dance classes are held every Friday and Sunday, from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., from May 27, 2011 through September 2011 (end date unconfirmed, call (514) 804-2775). Note that the class scheduled for Friday, July 8 is moved to Saturday, July 9 at 6 p.m.
