The Montreal Music Chamber Festival -- running May 1st through May 30 in 2009 -- was born in 1995 courtesy of Denis Brott, inspired by his father, conductor, musician and composer Alexander Brott's
Concerts Under the Stars, a series of classical performances that took place on Mount Royal in the 1950s. From combining tango with song to bringing musicians out of their comfort zone to delighting guests with performances as classic as the composers, the Montreal Music Chamber Festival is a four-week delight for classical fans, jazz aficionados and anyone in the mood for world-class live and intimate musical performances.
