Canada Day
Canada Day is also moving day in Quebec, a July 1st tradition since 1974. But if you're not knee-deep in boxes, then consider Wednesday's parade, free activities, concerts and cakes.

July 3 to July 26, 2009
Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival
The festival starts July 3rd, but for the purpose of free family fun, wait until July 16 when St. Denis, from Ste. Catherine to Sherbrooke is turned into a car-free street art/gag zone. Circus arts, live entertainment and clowns will have what it takes to please the kids.

July 4, 2009
Carifiesta
Quebec's Caribbean community is in full force at Montreal's brightest parade of the season held on René-Lévesque. Carifiesta is an upbeat delight for the whole family so be sure to catch it all, starting at 11 a.m.
