From classic clubs and all-day breakfast to sauerkraut and 12-inch hot dogs, Le Club Sandwich is the Montreal Gay Village's largest restaurant, dominating the city block and open 24/7. With chrome detailing, a flamboyant decor and terraces on all three floors, Le Club is always roomy, if loud at times.The dance music ambiance, which I personally adore, either complements your fries or grates your nerves. If not for you, then seek respite on one of the many terraces -- or rooftop, if open -- and savor the view and lively backdrop of the Gay Village. An excellent spot for the after hours crowd and post-dance hunger fits, Le Club Sandwich is also an ideal place for lunch on a warm summer day. You can't go wrong with a selection of over 60 modestly priced clubs, burgers and subs. And the poutine is not half bad either.
