Discover Old Montreal Restaurants at a Fraction of the Price

Montreal Restaurant Week is known by two names in Montreal. One is Taste MTL, a fall mega-event featuring over 100 restaurants across the city that debuted in 2012. The other is its precursor, Old Montreal's Le Happening Gourmand which, since 2008, has been following the examples of New York Restaurant Week and Toronto's Winterlicious, but on a much smaller scale: a handful of Old Montreal's mid to high-end restaurants, all owned by the Antonopoulos Group, cut menu prices roughly 30% to 40% for a three-week period every January. In 2013, Le Happening Gourmand runs from January 10 to February 3, 2013. Reservations are generally not required but recommended.
