Healthy food can taste good. From how to pronounce "quinoa," to what to do with seaweed, to how to cook without eggs or dairy (ideal for families with allergies), Dominique Dupuis hosts cooking classes that make "superfoods" taste good, in the heart of the Plateau. All April courses are charged 2 for 1. Ingredients featured this month include buckwheat, chia, kale and more.

Maison Théâtre in April
La Maison Théâtre presents Aaatchoum features clown-like characters in "absurd" situations ideal for ages 6 to 12 and La cigogne et le coucou is the story of a stork and a cuckoo forced to share a nest.

Maple taffy and tech house is on tap for some very lucky sugar ravers and their kids (if you're a parent with young kids, you love a good beat, have never been to a Piknic, but miss going out and dancing, then give Piknic a try, you'll be surprised how family friendly this event can be). Or go for the full sugar shack brunch at Parc Jean-Drapeau's Hélène de Champlain Restaurant (instead of the usual sugar shack outside Montreal). Your choice, either Saturday with DJ Hell, Mateo Murphy and Romeo Kardec or Sunday with Fluokids featuring Pharrell, NROTB and Diplo. Tickets are limited, as every year, so don't delay.
