Go on a couple of Montreal ghost walks July through October, and you'll never see Old Montreal's streets and landmarks in quite the same way. From Pierre du Calvet's hauntings to Auberge St. Gabriel's fantômes, choose your fright in the form of:
  • Montreal Ghost Walks: be prepared to walk through the streets of Old Montreal as a storyteller reveals the darker side of local history while haunted locations are explored: choose either the east side or west side walking tour.
  • Montreal Ghost Hunts: more interactive than the ghost walks, participants hunt down the ghouls site by site and "meet" the ghosts behind the legends, who share their tales and tragedies, in person. Two ghost hunt themes are offered, each with a different itinerary: Montreal's Historical Crime Scenes or the New France Ghost Hunt.
Walking Tour Length: 90 minutes.
Language: all tours offered in English and French.
Are the Walks Suitable for Kids? The ghost hunts are great for kids. Organizers recommend bringing children ages 10 and up to the tours.
Address/Departure: near 469 St-François-Xavier, between Notre-Dame and St. Paul. View map.
Cost: $21.50 adults, $18.50 seniors with I.D., $12.50 kids 12 and under.
Get There: Place d'Armes Metro
More INFO: call (514) 868-0303 or 1-877-868-0303. Reservations required.
