Family Activities and Community Events - April 2009
Keep April's first Sunday open for the Harlem Globetrotters, Easter wouldn't be Easter without egg hunts and bunnies and my favorite pick of the month goes to the Redpath Museum featuring the true story of 'Saving Luna', one of many freebie Earth Day weekend activities. Complement the experience with T-Rex bones, one mummy and a shrunken head, on display in the museum.

Montreal Music Events, Concerts & Live Shows - April 2009
The first half of the month features choice talent with Jane Birkin, Ladytron, electro tango with Bajofondo and Bal en Blanc's fabulous lineup. Then we've got Simian Mobile Disco, pop opera's Il Divo, the ever-uplifting Cannibal Corpse, the always current Tom Paxton, but if you can only afford one show this month, let it be Yann Tiersen, and he's in town long enough for an encore.

There's still time to find out how much families around the world spend on food with 'Hungry Planet: What the World Eats' at the Montreal Science Centre, the Biodome's annual bird fest starts at the end of the month, and the pop culture spotlight is on 'Imagine: The Peace Balad of John and Oko', an exhibit revisiting the couple's infamous 1969 Montreal bed-in.
