Montreal Christmas Parade Défilé des Rêves: Friday, November 30, 2012

Just a quick heads-up that Montreal's second largest Christmas parade, Plaza St. Hubert's Défilé des Rêves is this Friday, November 30 at 7 p.m. along St. Hubert, from Bellechasse to Jean-Talon (map). Expect antique firetrucks, a few circus stunts, Santa Claus plus entourage and apparently, Montreal Snow Village reps will be handing out surprises for the occasion.

The Plaza expects about 35,000 people to join in the festivities. I'm rather fond of this parade myself, albeit from a kid perspective. More on why here.
