Montreal Jazz Festival 2009: A Preview

Tony Bennett is back at the Montreal Jazz Festival in 2009.On the edgier side of the fest, I'm thrilled to see Montreal's Elsiane featured (and by the way, she sounds like that live) as well as Toronto's Thunderheist and electro pioneers The Orb.
Check out the full 2009 Montreal Jazz Fest lineup, running June 30 through July 12. Most tickets go on sale starting Saturday, May 9.
As for the ever-popular free outdoor shows, I've listed a daily roundup of the Jazz Festival's best free concerts in 2009, complete with clips of each artist in action. Enjoy!
