Musts ...

José Gonzalez & Mia Doi Todd: 8 p.m. Tonight - Cabaret Juste Pour Rire
I'm not the biggest fan of stripped down guitar and song, but tonight's lineup is an absolute exception. An evening of downright moving acoustics is guaranteed, opening with classically trained darling Mia Doi Todd followed by the eerie and dreamy acoustic master himself, Jose Gonzalez. Tickets are still available at $23 and up. Call (514) 790-1245 for more information.
Cabaret Juste Pour Rire, 2111 St. Laurent Blvd., corner of Sherbrooke.

St. Patrick's Day Parade: 12 p.m. Sunday - Ste. Catherine Street
Montreal's 184th St. Patrick's Day Parade on Sunday, March 16 starting at 12 p.m. As per most years, the parade will start at the corner of Fort and Ste. Catherine and end at St. Urbain.

International Festival of Films on Art: All Weekend - Various Venues
FIFA is wrapping up this weekend so this is your last chance to check out titles like Andy Warhol: Denied, a documentary exposing the unusual controversy surrounding the authentication of Warhol's work or Library on Ice — Lutz Fritsch in the Antarctic, the story of an artist who, inspired by the isolation he felt during a 1994-1995 expedition, set up a library in Antarctica. Check out the full schedule and buy tickets online before the films you want to see sell out!

Maybes ...

St. Patrick's Day Breakfast Buffet: 8 a.m. Sunday - Hurley's Irish Pub
Eat like the Irish before attending the parade at Hurley's Irish Pub on Crescent, just below Ste. Catherine. Eggs, bacon, sausage, colcannon, blood pudding, beans, scones, soda bread, even Irish Coffee are on the buffet menu for $15 a head. Live music will start at 8:00 a.m. Call (514) 861-4111 for more information.
Hurley's Irish Pub, 1225 Crescent, corner of Ste. Catherine.

Festivalissimo: Through March 27 - Various Venues
Showcasing Spanish, Portuguese and Latino-American films, art exhibitions, even a free capoeira demonstration later next week, Festivalissimo features over 50 films -- many never screened in Montreal -- presented in their original version with English or French subtitles.

Lastly, don't forget to check out the March Events Calendar listing many activities -- theater, dance, family activities, concerts and more -- happening through March in Montreal.
